Lifetime Warranty

At Vinny&Charles we stand by the quality of our jewellery and produce each piece with longevity in mind.

We offer a lifetime warranty against any manufacturing defects.

The warranty includes:
Fixing of any manufacturing defects
1 x Free Yearly Routine inspection, cleaning and polishing 
Any necessary repair work and stone replacement will be quoted accordingly.

The warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear, accidental or intentional damage, or theft.
Lost centre stones.
We highly recommend that you include your jewellery in your personal household contents insurance.
Warranty is voided if the piece is worked on by any other jeweller.
Rhodium plating - this is a separate charge and can be done at the time of inspection and cleaning. 



Any shipping and related customs charges will need to be covered by the customer. This includes shipping charges in getting the ring to and from us.

Normal wear and tear includes:

  • Scratches, dents, scrapes on the metal due to wear and tear
  • Damage to gemstones such as scratches, chips, breakages due to wear and tear
  • Claws/Prongs damage due to wear and tear through exposure to everyday activities
  • Gemstone falling out due to wear and tear through exposure to everyday activities
  • Discolouration of metals due to contact with corrosive chemicals such as soaps, makeups, chlorine 

We strongly advise following the steps in our care guide and yearly maintenance to ensure the longevity of your jewellery.

Your consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law

In the unlike event that there is an issue with your order, you are entitled to your  consumer rights under Australian law.

Consumer Guarantees do NOT apply if:

- You got what you asked for but changed your mind or saw it cheaper elsewhere
- Knew of or were made aware of the faults before you bought the product
- Misused the product in any way that caused the problem
- Unclear expectations were provided and advice by Vinny&Charles on manufacturing was not adhered to

Jewellery Care

We advise you follow the steps outlined in our Care Guide and take reasonable care of your jewellery wherever possible, including removing it before any physical activities such as swimming, gardening, gyming, sporting etc. We also advise that you take out appropriate insurance against any potential loss or theft of your jewellery.
