• Pretend you’re buying a nice ring as a gift for someone else, with hands and fingers roughly the same size as hers. To seem less suspicious, make it seem like a gift you’re both giving this person. Have her help you out with a ring size by providing her own.
• Check out her jewellery. If she already wears rings, you can take one and go to a jeweller to get it fitted.
